Going to put some hay out for the deer this year, did that 2 years ago and had 30 deer looking for breakfast with their big brown eyes every morning. Stay tuned for a web cam to keep track of the deer.

Trying to get the bears that run out of the way in the driveway and are eating the saskatoon berries in the front yard but just a fox and a deer rubbig up agaist the camera.

Just took the bicycle to the bottom of the runway and back. The aoroma of wild strawberries is fantastic.! Once I started seeing them it was hard to miss hitting them with the tires. The whole runway is wild strawberries!

Wild roses are everywhere! Aroma is intoxication as one walks by the bushes. 100 acres of roses. Saskatoon berries are plentifull this year.

Well there she is. Her cubs are behind her somewhere. She says hi when you go in and out of the drive way.

A couple of guards at the back porch and a view from the front today. Everything is up in the garden.

The front wall facing due South is 10 feet tall. The windows are 5 wide by 8 feet tall.

Set the deer cam up on the drive way last night and as I am driving home Mummy bear and two of the cutest cubs wer running through the grass . Determined to get a photo of the little family. They seem to have set up camp between the gate and the lake. The rule with critters , if they are on the property then they are safe.

Smithers is 20 minutes West, with flights to Vancouver.

Runway bottom , runway threshold, and looking north. The big cotton wood tree has to go in case of aborted landing. Right now you have to commit to the landing. Went to fall the big tree one day but it started talking to me and we later became friends.

Four horse drawn mowers , 2 rakes, buckboard . The one behind the house worked, we used to pull it behind the jeep to get hay for the Holstein.

Today, radishes and onions and spuds are up.

The saskatoon flowers are out everywhere! The water fall can be seen from the old cabin. 100 year old hand hewn timbers makes a good work shop. Ultra light plane kit comes with house and mono float ,only one landing.
