November 2014
Wind from the North today. Mist flowing past the window. Toasty warm with the new Quadra Fire Santa Fe upstairs. It goes on and off with the thermostat. Identical stove also downstairs both stay on low now so pellet burn about the same just more even heat . House is very dense so it holds the heat well. The walls are one inch thick wood and all the cement in the basesment including the entire floor have 2 inches of dense Styrofoam and vapor barrier under it. Passive solar heat storage ...it works!
